What are Multipurpose Dry Batteries?
Multipurpose dry batteries consist of cells with electrolytes in paste form, allowing current to pass through. They are portable and leak-resistant. Classifications include High Power/Standard Categories and R03, R14, R16, and R20 designations. R6 batteries are used in hearing aids and flashlights, while R14 and R20 are used in tape recorders and radio receivers.
What are Sealed Secondary Portable Lithium System Batteries?
These rechargeable batteries, containing Lithium, are sealed to prevent gas and liquid leakage. Common in laptops, cell phones, and tablets, they offer a long life-cycle and compact energy storage. IS 16046 standards cover safety guidelines for Nickel and Lithium batteries in two parts.
