ICAT, or the International Centre for Automotive Technology, is India's premier Homologation and Testing Centre established under NATRiP by the Government of India. Recognized as one of the agencies under CMV Rule No. 126, ICAT is responsible for issuing Conformity of Production (COP) Certificates and Type Approval Certificates (TAC). Headquartered in Manesar, Gurgaon, Haryana, ICAT is a world-class automotive Certification provider supported by the National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRiP) of the Government of India.

ICAT Approval for E-Trucks: Encompasses electric trucks or motor vehicles with a minimum of four wheels designed for transporting goods, including Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), Medium Commercial Vehicles (MCV), and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV).

ICAT Certification for E-Scooty: Pertains to two-wheelers like scooters powered by electricity, which are gaining popularity as a futuristic mode of transport.
